Following initial discussions and consultations with parents, students are invited to meet our mentors in person or using distance technology. During these sessions, mentors work with students to understand their interests and map out the skills and capacities they would benefit from gaining.
Step 2: Beginning
Following the Meeting, we assemble a team of mentors composed of individuals whose backgrounds, interests and teaching approaches resonate most with each student.
Step 3: Evolving
In time, students frequently find that their interests, strengths, and vulnerabilities change. Peak Time experiences evolve to respond to these important changes, providing opportunities for students to branch out into new areas of learning and interest.
Step 4: Moving Ahead
Once students have completed a Peak Time Experience, whether they are in high school, college or have graduated, they can continue to work with Peak Time life coaches to further hone their newfound skills in preparation for future success on campus or the work world.
Step 5: Continuity
Students participating in a Peak Time experience are offered the opportunity to select or be assigned a Peak Time Experience Guide, whose background and interests match well with their own. Some students elect to continue working with their guide after beginning college to examine the ongoing meaning of their Peak Time experience.
